Second Learn2Change-Conference, 11.-14.09.2017

Questions the Learn2Change–Global Network of Educational Activists aims to respond to by global exchange and mutual learning with educational activists from all over the world are:.

  • How do we want to live today and in the future?
  • Which global and local challenges are we facing?
  • Which role does education play for a societal transformation?

In June 2015 the first conference to respond  to this questions took place in Loccum, Germany. Since then the network kept working and a lot of activities happened. Now the time has come for a second conference. Within four days (from 11th to 14th of September 2017, arrival and meet and greet on 10.09.2017 in the evening optional), we will have the unique chance to discuss questions, share our perspectives and develop ideas for (concrete) actions for sustainable living in our diverse societies with about 60 participants from all over the world.

During this conference we invite the participants

  • to have a closer look on concepts and believes that are important for our work like mother earth’s rights, Buen Vivir, Global Citizenship, Civic action and Engagement, Youth Empowerment and more.
  • to learn from each other and to exchange and develop learning methods and tools.
  • to strengthen the network and to develop and consolidate it together with us.

We will develop and shape the conference’s content and outcome in a participative way – considering the above drafted questions and aims. We therefore invite you to send us your ideas, proposals and wishes for workshops, discussions and activities.

The pre-registration is open now. As we have limited places, please consider that not all interested persons may participate. We appreciate a participation during the whole conference, not only for one day.
