Open Global Dialogue
We create low-threshold spaces for global dialogue. These allow for informal exchange, getting to know each other, receiving first-hand information from a country, seeking collegial advice, or developing ideas for activities or collaboration.
Learn2Change Online Talks
We welcome all interested people to exchange ideas and views with educational activists from around the world in online meetings held every one or two months. During so-called Learn2Change Online Talks, participants report on topics and activities related to sustainability, democracy, education and social change in their countries. In addition, they discuss and consult on challenges in their professional or personal contexts. The Online Talks take place approximately every two months, on the last Thursday of each month. They last 2 hours.
The next Learn2Change Online Talk will take place on Thursday, 30 December 2025 from 3-5 pm CET. The talk will explore the current situation of teachers in Uganda and the broader challenges facing the country’s education system. Our guest speaker is Filbert Baguma, the General Secretary of the Uganda National Teachers’ Union (UNATU), will provide context to the general situation of teachers and education in Uganda. Furthermore, we will discuss with all participants the importance and role of teachers and educators for democracy and sustainability in this context.
