In this workshop we will explore the importance and potential of oral storytelling, a tradition deeply rooted in many cultures. We will discuss the opportunities that storytelling provides for educational work. Furthermore, we will have the chance to practise storytelling in small exercises ourselves. Our speaker Maria Carmela Marinelli is a professional storyteller and theatre educator. She is involved in storytelling projects in schools, performs at international storytelling festivals and works as a lecturer. Her main areas of focus are storytelling education, dramaturgy, tandem and bilingual storytelling.
