In November 2023, three symposia on the role of civil society for democracy and sustainability will take place – one each in Germany, Tunisia and Uganda. All symposia are linked by hybrid elements, so that global perspectives can flow directly into all events. Each symposium is organised by local cooperation partners of the Learn2Change-network.
The general agenda of the symposia is the same in all countries. There will be welcome speeches by organizers, politicians and cooperation partners. The keynote on the specific topic of each symposium will be a commented from a person of another country. Afterwards there will be the possibility to discuss and exchange with other participant. In workshop and breakout sessions, the participants will be able to deepen the topics of the keynote speeches.
